We Wish We Were That Cool

The Givers concert (7/29/12) was INCREDIBLE! By far one of the best shows I have ever seen.  I had been listening to them nonstop on Spotify and for some reason thought it would be a slower show.  I was so very very wrong.  They have this really cool creole-style and they just ROCK out.  Their songs are on the shorter side on their record, but live, they play on and on and their sets just melt together beautifully.  I would see them play again and again.  The drummer, Tiffany, seems like the COOLEST chick and made us wish we were that cool and could play drums.  In this video her hair is going nuts as she plays.

Union Transfer, where they played, is my favorite venue in Philly and now Electric Factory is my second.  We saw Lumineers and Old Crow Medicine Show played last night and I am still pumped up.  I'll post some videos this week.  For now, we're on show hiatus until 9/8 when Imagine Dragons & AWOLNATION play for free at the Piazza.
